There is something about Halloween that children count down to all year. The costumes, the pumpkins, the little thrill of the dark. It is pure magic at this age. So imagine giving them a Halloween night they will still be talking about long after the sweets have run out.

Our Spooky Sleepover turns their bedroom into a glowing Halloween den for the night. Spooky, yes. Scary, never.

The moment they walk in

This is the bit I love. The door opens and their ordinary room has vanished into something out of a storybook. Cosy teepees come alive with strings of glowing ghosts trailing down each one, a little witch hat perched on top, and wisps of soft cobweb draped between them. Plump pumpkins sit dotted around like they have always belonged there.

The beds are dressed in classic Halloween. Pumpkin orange and inky black, with trick-or-treat and boo cushions, playful bats and spider webs and squishy boucle pumpkins tucked in beside them. It is Halloween done beautifully, the kind of setup that makes them squeal with delight rather than run for the landing light. The gasp when they walk in is the moment parents tell me about for weeks.

What the Spooky Sleepover setup includes

Every child gets their own little world for the night. A teepee of their own, a comfy mattress and bedding, a soft pillow and a styled tray waiting just for them.

The trays get the full seasonal treatment. A colour-changing ghost light to keep the dark friendly, a cosy eye mask for when they finally settle, a scatter of little velvet pumpkins and a flickering candle, and a treat box for that all-important midnight feast. Add the themed cushions, the glowing ghost lights and the pumpkins, and it feels like stepping inside their favourite Halloween story.

Two teepees is our minimum and a Spooky Sleepover really comes alive as a row of glowing dens side by side, a whole gang of friends in on the fun together.

We welcome children from five to fourteen, and Halloween is one of those themes that spans the whole range beautifully. The little ones adore the glow and the friendly pumpkins. The older crowd, the nine-to-fourteens who can be so hard to impress, love that it feels genuinely atmospheric and cool. If you have a child at that age where a party must feel special but never babyish, this one lands every time.

How it works

We take care of everything. We arrive, we build, we style every last detail, and we come back the following day to pack it all away. Everything set up for you and taken away the following day. All you do is watch their faces.

Our teepees are £40 each, with a minimum of two; a 25% deposit secures your date, and the balance is due 14 days before the night. We are also rated five stars on Google, which we are very proud of.

Book early, because Halloween comes once!

Here is my honest word of advice. Halloween falls on a single night, and it is one of the busiest dates in our whole year. Those October weekends and the 31st itself book up fast, often weeks ahead. If a Spooky Sleepover is on your mind, the kindest thing you can do for yourself is get your date held early rather than leave it to chance.
