Our Mermaid Lagoon theme is one of the most loved setups we do at Sweet Dreams Events and the photographs honestly speak for themselves. But more than how it looks, what matters is the moment a little girl walks in and genuinely believes, just for one evening, that she is under the sea.

What Does the Setup Look Like?
Picture three or four canvas teepees in a row. Draped above them, a fishing net hung between the poles with shell fairy lights threaded through it. Soft warm light. Pink narwhal plushies perched at the top of each teepee. Fluffy white bedding with blue shell cushions, sparkly sequin cushions and the most adorable little crab plushie waiting on each pillow.
It is genuinely stunning. And children go absolutely wild for it.

What Is Included?
Every guest at a Mermaid Lagoon sleepover gets their own teepee with white bedding and a duvet. Shell fairy lights are threaded through the fishing net above. Blue shell velvet cushions, sparkly sequin cushions and a fluffy cloud cushion all come as standard. A pink crab plushie is tucked in beside each pillow. Every child gets their own white wooden tray dressed with mermaid-themed accessories.

How Old Should the Children Be?
Mermaid Lagoon works beautifully for girls aged five to eleven. The sweet spot tends to be six to nine, where the theme really captures the imagination. That said, we have had older girls just as excited about the setup, so do not let age put you off.
How Many Guests Can We Have?
Between two and ten guests. Most Mermaid Lagoon bookings are for four to six children, which is the perfect number for a birthday sleepover.
